I am Aaron Liu, a photographer and filmmaker, and every frame I make is shot on Leica. I am a Leica Local Artist and an official Leica Store event photographer and filmmaker. My work is built on patience: I photograph with a fine art eye and a documentary heart, drawn to the quiet moments between the planned ones. Award winning and published in Style Me Pretty and Magnolia Rouge, I bring the same craft to a thirty minute mini session that I bring to a full wedding day. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons to photograph families, for the way golden light softens everything it touches and for the small moments between people who love each other, a hand reaching for a hand, a child mid laugh, a dog refusing to sit still. I photograph in English and in Mandarin, and I would be glad to meet your family this season.

Mini sessions are how I welcome families, couples, and friends into my work without a full booking. The session is short. Nothing else changes: every frame is shot on Leica, every photograph is hand selected and edited by me, and you will never feel rushed inside your time.

Shot on Leica, by intention
I photograph exclusively on Leica because of how it renders light and skin: honest color, quiet depth, images that feel made rather than taken. In golden fall light or on a warm Christmas set, that difference shows. Families notice it in the photographs, and the photographs last.

Additional People (five included)
$30 per person
Every session includes up to five people. Each person beyond five is $30, so grandparents and cousins are always welcome. Pets never count toward the number.

How It Works
Simple, from booking to gallery
Choose your date and time slot, and apply your early bird code at checkout. Before your session I will send a short guide on what to wear and how to prepare. On the day, arrive a few minutes early, and I will take care of the rest. Your gallery arrives online, ready to download and share.
