I am Aaron Liu, a Seattle wedding photographer and filmmaker capturing photography and film in one team, on Leica.

I am Aaron Liu, a wedding photographer and filmmaker based in Seattle. Over the past eleven years I have learned how a wedding day actually moves: the quiet hour before the ceremony, the way a grandmother watches from the second row, the moment a room turns toward the dance floor. My job is to be close enough to catch those moments and calm enough not to interrupt them. Everything I make is shot on Leica, and that choice is less about equipment than about how I like to work: slowly, deliberately, with a small camera that lets me stay near you without becoming the center of the room. Photography and film are captured together by one team, sized to your day, so the stills and the motion share the same light, the same timing, and the same point of view. I am bilingual in English and Mandarin, and I have a particular love for couples bringing two cultures together. I understand what it means to hold a tea ceremony and a first look in the same morning, or to have one set of parents in Taipei and the other in Seattle, and I want both sides of your family to feel seen. I photograph across the Pacific Northwest, the San Francisco Bay Area, Southern California, and Hawaii, and travel for pre-wedding sessions in Taiwan, Japan, and Paris. I am an official photographer and filmmaker for Leica Seattle, and my work has been featured in Style Me Pretty, Magnolia Rouge, The White Wren, and Washington Wedding Day. If this sounds like the way you want your day remembered, I would love to hear from you.
